Apologies for the long pause of content release. We both really hate not being able to share content but I’ll try and explain as briefly as possible why it’s been tricky and I promise we have a whole new travel series coming to TKT very soon!
In these pictures Craig is on the 857438563 phone call to Apple support due to BOTH our computers having issues, Craig’s MacBook is bigger and is the one we use for all the editing as it can (usually) handle it. However while we were in Greece we began experiencing some issues so we thought we’d take it to Apple once we were back in the UK and all would be well… sadly not but after several visits we do have one working laptop now and we’re still trying to figure out the other one which is Craig’s one.
Due to how busy England is right now, accommodation is very tricky and we have had to move multiple times whilst being back and in this picture we are renting a room from a friend which is lovely but we have absolutely zero phone signal inside the flat. As soon as we place the phone outside it works, so Craig had to connect the phone to his headphones so that he could sit inside looking at the laptop to go through yet more steps to try and fix it whilst on the phone to Apple, it’s crazy that the signal completely drops as soon as the phone is brought inside. Of course as we are in good old England, part way through the call, the heavens opened and down came the phone destroying rain! So we grabbed the umbrella to solve the problem, it looks crazy but it worked and we finally and reluctantly had to accept our poor MacBook needs a large part replacing so we are doing just that as we have been filming some more content and can’t wait to get it edited and up on our channel asap!
Apologies that this version was still not that short but it’s been hectic. We are happy and healthy though so that’s the main thing and we feel very lucky to be able to ‘start again’ and with my little laptop being fixed it means we’re able to work and earn again so we’re able to get things fixed before we travel.
